WELCOME to our website. CCrew is our Canadian Kennel Club (C.K.C.) Registered Kennel, located in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada, which indulges our passion for the American Cocker Spaniel. Our objective is to establish a selective breeding programme governed by the C.K.C. Breed Standard as supported by the American Cocker Spaniel Club of Canada (ACSCC). It is our goal to produce the highest quality healthy companions possessing sound merry temperament. We are committed to the betterment of the breed and embrace the belief that each new litter will be an improvement on the last.
"We will allways be students of the breed who quest
new knowledge that will aid in breed improvement."
Our lifestyle permits the enjoyment of our cockers as home raised companions and dog show participants. We are members of the Canadian Kennel Club, the Newfoundland All-Breed Kennel Club and the Conception Bay Kennel Club. My wife is a member and I am the Provincial Director of the American Cocker Spaniel Club of Canada.

Puppies: Occasionally, we have puppies available to select homes. We specialize in the buff variety and do not sell dogs for breeding purposes (All puppies are sold on C.K.C. Non-Breeding Agreements). We believe in the prevention of inheritable diseases. All of our breeding animals have annual eye exams done, are not bred before OFA Certification (to be free of hip dyslpasia) at 2 years of age and are examined for Patella Luxation, Thyroid disease and Brucellosis. We offer a health guarantee and puppies come with a veterinary health record and 5 generation pedigree.
We believe in carefully planning litters and avoid breeding our females in consecutive heats. Prospective sires for our puppies may come from anywhere in the world and are evaluated for health, temperament, and conformation to the breed standard. We are proud of the fact that our puppies are born, raised, and socialized in our home. For further information about the breed and buying considerations visit our Breed Information Page.
We actively participate in obedience and conformation training and exhibition. We feel that training offers appealing mannerly habits and competition fosters our cocker's induldgence to please. Participating in dog shows provides an independent assessment of our dogs and breeding programme. These activities offer an excellent source of canine socialization and human interaction. We recommend that our puppy owners participate in obedience classes. We are very proud of our dogs, enjoy conversing about them, and are happy to readily show them off!
